Metal Gear Solid: Rising, the first of the franchise to appear on the Xbox 360 looked amazing in the trailer presented at E3 by none other than Konami's Hideo Kojima. In the words of the producers, Rising is a "sword action game." The video showed an assortment of enemies from regular guys with guns to giant robotic soldiers, all who can easily be cut to pieces with Raiden's super katana.
The trailer didn't give us any hint of the story but the graphics and gameplay are more than enough to get us excited. One extremely cool feature we saw in the live trailer was an ability in which Raiden is able to seemingly slow down time and manually choose how the player wants to slice and dice a particular enemy. The trailer will undoubtedly be up later today.
