Portal 2 Delayed Until 2011

With E3 only a few days away, news that Aperture Science (also called Valve) decided to cancel their E3 press conference is shocking enough, but the reports that followed were much more sinister. The ground-breaking title Portal, which won more than 30 Game of the Year awards, will not have its sequel released this year.

Portal 2 has been pushed back until 2011 as described in a release that Valve issued to the media stating, "MAKING GAMES IS HARD." With an astute sense of vocabulary, Valve presented some unfortunate news which will undoubtedly have fans disappointed with the setback. However, by promising that Portal 2 will be "even better" now that extra time has been allotted for game production, how can we complain?
